Individual Performance Support
Performance is personal. Support should be too.
Individual psychology and performance support for athletes, coaches, leaders and professionals.
Performance is shaped by how we think, respond, make decisions and interact with the environments around us. Whether navigating the demands of competition, leading others or working towards a personal goal, understanding these processes creates opportunities for meaningful development.
At Seabury Performance, we combine evidence-based psychology with practical, individualised support to help people better understand themselves, navigate challenges and develop the skills needed to perform and thrive.

Our Story
Building better players through better environments.
Seabury Performance’s work in tennis began with a simple observation: developing a player requires more than improving their technique.
Through years of working with competitive juniors, professional athletes, coaches and families, we saw how much of a player’s development was shaped by the environment around them. The coaching they received, the opportunities they had to compete, how they responded to setbacks and the support available when things became difficult all played a part.
Yet psychological development was often treated as something separate from everyday tennis training.
We wanted to change that.
Our tennis provision was built around integrating psychology into the places where players actually learn and compete. Rather than relying solely on conversations away from the court, we create opportunities for players to practise decision-making, manage pressure, develop independence and learn through the challenges of the game itself.
Today, our work spans individual performance support, on-court psychology, player development, tournament support and integrated academy programmes.
Led by Dr Tom Seabury and Connie Dayman, we bring together coaching, psychology and wider performance expertise to support players at different stages of their journey.
Our approach recognises that every player is different, but the principle remains consistent:
We don't simply develop tennis players. We develop the people behind the performance and the environments that help them thrive.

Development Lead
Connie Dayman SEPiT
Connie is a sport psychologist in training who provides individual psychological support to athletes and performers, with a particular focus on young people navigating the demands of development and competitive sport.
She brings experience from high-performance and multidisciplinary environments, including Southampton Football Club, Army Rugby, the England Amputee Football Association and Bromley Tennis Centre. Her work across these settings has developed a strong understanding of the psychological challenges individuals face at different stages of their performance journey.
Combining evidence-based psychology with practical coaching experience, Connie supports individuals in developing confidence, focus, decision-making, emotional regulation and adaptability. She places particular importance on understanding the person behind the performer, tailoring support to their experiences, goals and wider environment.
Her approach focuses on building self-awareness, independence and practical psychological skills that can be applied beyond individual sessions, helping people navigate challenges and develop both within and outside their performance environment.
Start with your challenge.
You don't need to know exactly what support you need before getting in touch.
Whether you're working towards a specific goal, navigating a difficult period or looking to develop your performance, we'll begin by understanding your circumstances and exploring what appropriate support could look like.
Individual performance support is focused on psychological skills, development and performance. Where clinical mental health treatment or specialist care is required, we can discuss appropriate referral pathways.
